FANTASTIC FLATFORMS
Let’s face it, heels and sand are not friends. And TBH with so little surface area on the heel, we’re not too keen on wearing them around potentially slippery poolsides either. So what’s a gal to do when she wants a little height? Enter the flatform, my friend. With the same amount of footbed real estate as your trusty flats but with an increased depth of sole, the flatform gives the illusion of height without the reality of heel-teetering shoe malfunctions.

RETURN OF THE CLOG
This back-in-the-spotlight trend is definitely a polarizing one. Dubbed as “ugly shoes” by some, the humble clog runs the gamut from the normcore Dansko work shoes to the fun loving Croc. If you love them, you already know they are showing up in just about every runway this season. And while the wood-soled version would definitely be a poor choice for beachwear, designers are working their fashion magic to create water-friendly versions that are also party worthy.
