Office Supplies: 6 Sensational Spring ’23 Full-Office Looks to Love

Strict dress codes (outside of certain professions) are becoming more a thing of the past. Nowadays office looks are more and more about personal choice. Great, right? Except it can lead to some serious *analysis paralysis*. We have fifteen office attire looks (from apparel to accessories to shoes) that’ll have you exuding trendy professional…not home office hobo.

Spring is the perfect time for some color pop. Boston Proper’s hot pink dress trousers give all that and more. We pair these lovelies with Love, Bonito’s delicate, feminine broderie anglaise top and Joomi Lin’s mixed material necklace of gold, pearl and rhinestone. Updating from the typical winter bootie, we add Johnston & Murphy’s subtle-sheen metallic open toe version (yes, metallics are officially on the office-friendly list now). And finally, Dooney & Bourke’s  secretarial tote in rich, saddle brown keeps us all organized for the day.

Nostalgia can hit the fashion world at any time, and one of the major S/S trends now is the long denim skirt. This asymmetrical hem version from rag & bone, with its darker wash, lends itself to the office, and is the perfect companion to this juicy, tropical orange charmeuse blouse from Boston Proper (tropical oranges are one of 2023’s big S/S color trends). A glossy, caramel wide belt from B-Low also complements the shirt. For the rest of the accessories, we go with dashes of dark chocolate, such as Dooney & Bourke’s Saffiano large satchel and Baublebar’s Viola earrings. Last but not least, a pair of leopard-print booties from Parisian brand The Kooples gives us a spot (pun intended) of playful pattern.

Bring your love for bright patterned pants with you to work. DVF’s soft matte jersey pants are slip-on-and-go effortless but pack a lot of visual appeal. We pair them with another trend that has been dominating for a while, Cupshe’s lace trim cami that brings the lingerie-as-fashion look into an office-friendly fit. Boston Proper’s pretty, powder blue boyfriend blazer pulls the whole look together, along with M. Gemi’s super comfy, suede flats. And with a quick throw on the shoulder of Hobo’s silver Sheila tote, you’re ready to head to that power lunch.

A shacket to work? Oh yes you can. Take your fav oversized casual shirt and make it office-worthy by treating it like an oversized blazer. Start with a streamlined silhouette underneath, such as this ribbed tank dress we found by Vince. Then we add Windsor’s woven plaid shacket, which we button from the waist down and cinch in with an iconic belt (like the “love bird” buckle belt from Pinko). A double strand necklace from Kendra Scott gives some bling up top while Circus NY’s two-toned booties add visual interest below. Last, upgrade your workbag to green with Dagne Dover’s daily tote that’s vegan leather outside and entirely recycled material lining inside (7 recycled bottles per bag!).

Nothing quite “sings spring” like green. Lulus silky satin, green print shirt is a chic starting point, made even more so by Boston Proper’s high waist modern pant. We add some more seasonal fun with Mansur Gavriel’s emerald ballet flats. A celestial-inspired jewelry piece gives just the needed statement, and we conclude things with an adorbs little shoulder bag from Radley London that’s big enough to carry your immediate necessities, but small enough to fit in your business tote.

The printed dress is an office staple for a reason. It. Works. Airy enough to keep you comfortable, and chic enough to give you that effortless put-together look in minimal time. This mod-patterned dress by J. McLaughlin hits that just-above-the-knee length which is flattering for all body types, and has long sleeves (great if your office tends to be on the cool side). We pair it with a Joie bootie and Marc Jacobs medium-sized business tote bag, both in juicy orange. As for the jewelry, AUrate’s 14k gold zodiac studs are a fun personalized touch, and of course, when it comes to iconic, you simply can’t go wrong with a Chanel CC pearl necklace.
