West Coast Fashion Editor:
Spring wedding season can be tricky, since the weather can play a huge role in whether you’re bundled up to the brim or happily sporting your airiest little silk dress. This is especially true when it comes to those tootsies! The great news is, no matter what the temperature reads, this season’s shoes have just what you need.
Cold Feet – Just because there’s still snow on the ground doesn’t mean you can’t bring a little spring to your step. The trick is to take advantage of the bootie trend (which still shows no sign of slowing down). Now, unless you’re planning on wearing black matching tights, or unless your dress is full length, booties in black or dark colors are off limits. Ideally you’ll want a neutral tone, something close to your skin tone, and keep the silhouette streamlined (no chunky hardware). Here are just a couple of great finds courtesy of our SLH editors.
Heavy Clouds but No Rain – Okay we love a great Sting lyric as much as the next gal, but when you’re dealing with that tricky ‘not cold enough to snow but still cold enough to freeze my feet’ weather, close-toed heels are your best option. You could brave your open-toed but why? There are so many super cute spring options this season, including…
