Putting together a great spring break look can be a tad intimidating. So often we go for the “more is more” ideal and that can lead to major overpacking. But hey, here at SLH, we’ve got you. Our Editors have put together ten full looks that will make you the belle of the beach. Let’s get started!

If you’re just seeing where the day takes you, this 90s inspired look is super versatile and will keep you stepping in style. Starting with a sunshine-y cropped cami and pair it with Good American’s perfect pair of 90s shorts. Adding super cute accessories like a cheery pair of Knockarounds (the Pacific Palisades are a staff favorite) a custom name pendant from Baublebar (12 colors to choose from!) and round out your fit with adidas’ new season of sneakers, the Duramo SL 2.0, which is made from 50% recycled material (happy times, happy planet).

There’s just something about warm sunshine and a white babydoll dress. This gauzy woven one from Lulus is just the throw-and-go dress you need when your schedule gets busy (people to see, parties to be). Slide on some quick accessories such as M.Gemi’s handwoven leather slides in icy lavender and Sophie Anderson’s beefy big tote. For final touches, go glam with 10k white gold hoops and Krewe’s iconic 24k gold and opal sunglasses – The St. Louis.

What’s the one big item you should always pack (after your bathing suit of course)? Your LBD. Sure, you’ll spend many a night in flip flops and shorts but at some point you and your squad are going to want to hit a proper club or maybe even a restaurant to try out some cuisine that doesn’t include “you want fries with that?”. For these times, a fashionable LBD gives you instant chic. This cool cutout mini from Nicole Miller is made of knit, so it’s bodycon but comfortable. Speaking of comfort, we’re loving these 3 inchers from Nina that will give you legs for day, but with the chunky heel that will keep you firmly on the ground. Skip the expected earrings and go for serious drama with Windsor’s rhinestone necklace. Trendy choker in the front but in the back, a breathtaking tail that take full advantage of your dress’s open back. Lastly, you’ll want to keep things handsfree and we highly recommend Karl Lagerfeld’s sweet heart-shaped crossbody. Medium sized, it has room for your necessities.

Just because you’re on break doesn’t mean you can’t be doing something. In this case, these items are a combination of sustainable, recycled and socially focused materials that all come together. Reef’s Water Vista sandals and Dagne Dover’s Neoprene mini backpack are both made from recycled plastics. Vitamin A Swim’s shimmery 2-piece is created from cast offs (material leftover from other fashion producers that would go into land fill). Vida’s gorgeous, floaty kimono is made by women in New Delhi that are paid living wages, and you can take pride that purchasing from Boston Proper is supporting a wholly women-owned business.

Get a little prep in your step with this fun fit. Starting with the iconic polo dress, freshened up in tiny polka dots (flipped collar optional). Next we created (yes! as in custom!) these amazing sunglasses from Knockaround’s custom area…basically you choose your style, frame color, lens color – everything! Dooney & Bourke’s classic saddle bag crossbody and a pair of Jack Rogers really accessorize the look. Our last piece? The cutest little pearl earrings from Tous, ‘natch.

Seeing is believing and this outfit is proof of that. We start with a dark floral top from adidas and throw onto it a flirty crochet tunic that doubles as a beach cover up (one less thing to pack!). Next we play up the textures with J. McLaughlin’s super cute petal shorts and some to-die-for shades from Chloe which we found for a major score. Last, these cutout platform sandals echo the the pattern of the crochet top and pulling it all together is a chic little rope bag from Meri Meri, which features the cutest abstract sun.

Sets are just about…well, everywhere. This colorful crop and bike short set not only looks amazing, it’s a total steal on sale at Zulily! Play off all the fun colors in the tie dye by adding some colorful beaded hoops, a pair of lovely lilac Birkenstocks (made of EVA so you can wear in and out of the water) and a Kenzo belt bag so you can remain hands free. Lastly, a dash of decadence with these Versace sunnies we found on Farfetch on sale as well.

Getting your knit on was never easier with this sexy, slinky space dye mini from Windsor. Easily dressed up or down, as we show when paired with Franco Sarto’s pink leather slip-on. Some ‘go big or go home’ hoops from Amrita Singh add some drama while a soft woven tote bag keeps the cool organic vibe going.

Truth be told, we love a good combo, and this collab from Puma and the London luxury brand Liberty has us all aflutter…in floral that is. We did a playful pairing with a coy pearl and glass bead necklace from Baublebar, Mansur Gavriel’s cult-status cloud purse (in mini form), sleek sunnies from Salvatore Ferragamo and kicking things down, some fun pink slides from Melissa Shoes.

For our last look, we go lounge casual with Aeropostale’s fleece mini skirt and pair it with Universal Standard’s adorable denim short-sleeve shirt. Keeping up the cuteness factor, we add some heart-shaped sunglasses, Marc Jacob’s fuzzy version of his iconic snapshot purse and we close out our look with some super comfy sandals by Suicoke.

So that’s our spring break fits for you! Hope you found a few things you’d like to add to your packing list. Either way, we here at SLH hope you have a fantastic and safe time!
